How 'The Vvaan' Sidestepped a Music Row Showdown

The much‑anticipated action‑fantasy ‘The Vvaan – Force Of The Forrest’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, has been riding a wave of excitement since its announcement, but a last‑minute music controversy threatened to stall its September 25, 2026 debut. Rumors swirled that two high‑profile composers were laying claim to overlapping themes, echoing the heated Kantara soundtrack battle that once split the Telugu industry.

The friction began when the film’s original composer, known for his orchestral grandeur, discovered that a popular indie musician had already released a track bearing a strikingly similar motif. Both parties argued that the melody was integral to the film’s narrative, leading to a potential legal standoff that could have delayed post‑production.

Producers acted fast, convening a round‑table with the director, music supervisors, and both composers. After intense back‑and‑forth, they agreed to a hybrid solution: the indie artist’s track would be re‑recorded with new instrumentation, while the original composer would weave his signature motifs around it, creating a seamless sonic tapestry that satisfied both creative visions.

For the cast and crew, the resolution was a relief. Tamannaah, who is known for her meticulous preparation, praised the team’s ability to keep the project on schedule, noting that a stable soundtrack allows actors to sync their performances more naturally during dubbing and promotional shoots. Directors across the industry are watching the outcome as a template for handling similar disputes without jeopardising release windows.

With the music row settled, ‘The Vvaan’ now heads into final polishing and a robust marketing push. Fans can expect a rich auditory experience that blends grand orchestration with contemporary beats, setting the stage for a box‑office splash that could redefine how Telugu blockbusters manage collaborative scores.
